The Black Customs of VnV Studios

Black is my favorite horse color, so as you can imagine I paint a lot of them. I don't believe in painting sunburnt black horses on breeds that would be shown (like anything besides a mustang/wild breeds). When breeding for black in show breeds steps are taken to ensure the horses do NOT fade, especially in the case of friesians that are to be shown. Therefore I don't believe it's realistic for show breeds to be sunburnt black unless they're a type that would be noted as not being in show condition.
